A quick recap of the week before I need to pull myself away from procrastinating. Yes, our hellish exams are yet to be over, though the final days have dwindled to just 4 days left. Ah yes, freedom awaits us there, but as usual with all my holidays, it is going to be another 2 weeks filled with long hours of practice.
Anyways, as most of the Form 5 students around Penang have come to known, it is not only rooftops that 'bocor', or the supposed monthly 'bocor' referred by our dear inconsiderate ministers, but even our dear exam papers have leaks! And the whole freaking JPN paper was almost question by question, word by word on the freaking net! As you can see, it's pretty pointless setting for an exam where the questions are already known before hand. As one Chung Ling Kia noted, 'They should had just gave us the answer sheets. We don't need the questions also can fill in the answers."
I know it's not really Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri's fault, but I can't help but think how the occurence of such events, and with quite a notoriously number of times (last year was also the same), might just end up giving our dear JPN a bad name, or as we say, make them look like Jabatan Pembocoran Negeri instead!
Anyways, those 2 papers aside, biology paper was relatively hard, though I suppose lack of studying is to be partly blamed. Maths today was pretty average, and PJK was as usual a test of how long your short-term memory lasts. All in all, quite an eventful week, one that culminated on Monday and Tuesday's now infamous "leak".
Let's pray that next week would be an easy week, though considering Sejarah is our last paper, I doubt there would be any breather till the last second of the examinations. And yes, our dear school has a very cruel way of making sure nobody plays truant till the last days of school: hold the exams right till the last day of school, in fact, right till the last minute until only Form 3s and 4s will be in the hall celebrating yet another teachers' day that really is more of a officiality than anything.
Oh, and happy teacher's day to all teachers worldwide. I'll see if I have time to dedicate another post to our teachers who have strived so hard to make it hell for us students this examination period.
