I've been noticing quite a number of searches regarding "Kerja Amal", which actually means voluntary work in Bahasa Malaysia ( You all should know that it's now officially known as this right?) Some of you might be puzzled as to why people are searching for this, but well, it's actually got something to do with our projects as a student.
About this time, most Form 4 and Form5 students would be busily trying to complete a project known as Moral project, which actually requires you participating in 2 types of activities, one of them most notably kerja amal. The other has something to do with environment, meaning you have to do something like cleaning up the surrounding of some place like the school.
Interesting as it may be, this trend of searches pertaining to homework related terms such as "Moral Kerja Amal Projek" "Test Papers" and other terms should be a clear sign of our students moving towards a more high tech approach instead of relying on asking friends and borrowing from seniors. Of course, this is still highly practiced, especially in schools like Chung Ling.
But, the problem lies within the lack of materials regarding that specific subject that they require. After all, you can't get anymore specific than something like Kerja Amal Moral. Rarely would anyone put up anything on this, and furthermore, this is not really a popular term especially since it only affect a very tiny bit of the world population -- Malaysian students only.
So to those who're searching for these online, too bad for you all as i'm quite sure there's really nothing more than garble and rubbish out there regarding this subject. Perhaps you all should revert to old-tested solutions, such as borrowing from seniors and asking friends. They are after all, still proven to be the most effective way to finishing that d***ed project. All the best!
